A library for the study
of the ancient Near East.

Judaism, Zoroastrianism, and the religions of Mesopotamia and Egypt.

The ancient Near East and Persia were the cradle of writing, law and some of the world's oldest religions. This section will cover the monotheistic covenant of Judaism and its scriptures, the cosmic dualism of Zoroastrianism and the Avesta, and the polytheistic traditions of Mesopotamia and Egypt, from Sumerian literature to the Book of the Dead. As with the other sections, each text will link to a legitimate free source, alongside institutions, journals, research projects and a Community page for jobs, fellowships, conferences and societies. This section is currently under construction and will follow the same standard as Buddhism and Hinduism.

This section will offer the same five parts as the others — Canon, Library, Institutions, Projects and Community — with every text linked to a legitimate source and every institution, journal and fellowship verified before it is listed.
