A library for the study
of Sanātana Dharma.

The Vedas, Upaniṣads, epics, Purāṇas and darśanas, and the people and places studying them.

This section covers the long and varied literature of Sanātana Dharma. The canon is organised as the tradition itself does: śruti, the four Vedas and the Upaniṣads, and smṛti, including the epics, the Purāṇas and the law books, alongside the six classical darśanas. Texts link to free translations and Sanskrit editions, from the Sacred Books of the East to GRETIL and the Sanskrit Library. You will also find leading journals, universities offering Hindu and Sanskrit studies, digitisation projects, and a Community page with job boards, fellowships, conferences and service organisations such as the Ramakrishna Mission and Chinmaya Mission.
