Library — Ancient Civilizations

Books & journals

A curated directory of modern scholarship and journals on early civilizations.

This section links to publishers, university presses and open-access resources — never to unauthorized copies. One free resource worth knowing: the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology at UCLA has put many of its press's books online through the University of California's eScholarship; see its site for the list.
